Consign With Us

Consigning Furniture:
  1. Email photos of your items so they can be approved. Info@ConsigningDesign.com

  2. Items must be in outstanding condition. Anything stained or broken will be donated.

  3. Schedule an appointment to bring your approved items in for consignment.

  4. The ladies at Petersons’ are unable to unload furniture items. Please make sure to bring help to unload. Big Brother Moving is a fabulous moving company that can deliver your items. They can be reached at 919.239.0940.

  5. You will be given a personal account to check the status of all your items.

  6. The contract will be emailed to you immediately.

  7. You will receive suggested pricing via email and it will be on your personal account.We will price your items based on experience, condition, demand, brand, and age. We can’t guarantee a price until we have seen the item(s) in person. We typically price items 40%-70% of the current retail price.

  8. The contract is for 120 days, it is a 50/50 split once the item sells, and if there are any unsold items they will be marked down monthly.

  9. We will work hard 6 days a week to find your items new homes and on the 7th day our website is still advertising your items!

Consigning Home Decor:

  1. You can bring home accent items by Monday-Thursday without an appointment.

  2. You can up to 10 items per visit. (MAX 10)

  3. If you have more than 10 you will need to schedule an appointment.

  4. We can schedule appointments Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate you if you are unable to come in Monday-Thursday.

  5. You will be given a personal account to check the status of all your items.

  6. The contract will be emailed to you immediately.

  7. You will receive suggested pricing via email and it will be on your personal account.

  8. The contract is for 120 days, you will receive 40% of the sales price, and if there are any unsold items they will be marked down monthly.

  9. We will work hard 7 days a week to find your items new homes.

Clothing Consignment:

  1. You must schedule an appointment with us if you have more than 5 items.

  2. You can bring in 25 items per appointment.

  3. Items must be in LIKE NEW condition, in season, and currently in style.

  4. Items must be on hangers. We will give you your hangers back before you leave.

  5. You will receive a drop off receipt and the contract will be emailed to you immediately.

  6. You will receive a personal account to check the status of your items.

  7. You will be emailed an itemized list and pricing for each item.

  8. The contract is for 90 days. You can locate and collect any unsold items you wish to keep between days 90-97.

  9. You will receive 40% of the sales price. High end will be a 50/50 split.

  10. Checks are cut once a month for the previous months sales.

  11. We work hard 6 days a week to find your items a new home and on the 7th day our website is still advertising your items.

All checks are ready for pick up on the 15th unless the 15th falls on a weekend. If the 15th falls on a weekend it will be ready the following Monday morning.
